COMPANY BELONGING TO BRAZIL PAVILION, COORDINATED BY THE ABIMDE AND WITH SUPPORT OF APEX-BRAZIL AND WILL PRESENT OPERATION IN THE NAVAL SECTOR
Alltec, leading company in the production of parts from composite materials, was present at Exponaval 2018, one of the most important naval defense events in Latin America, which took place from December 4 to 7, in Valparaíso (Chile). The company was part of the Brazil Pavilion, coordinated by the ABIMDE (Brazilian Association of Industries of Defense and Security Materials) with the support of Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments).
For the event, Alltec highlighted its operations in the naval sector, in partnership with ICN (Itaguaí Naval Constructions) for the production of hydrodynamic hulls, rudders, and acoustic windows, as part of the nationalization / transfer of technology of composite material parts to the PROGRAM of Submarine Development (PROSUB) of the Brazilian Navy. To carry out this project, besides training its team, the business also constructed a specific manufacturing unit to house the production. 80% of the SBR2 parts have already been delivered and planning for the production of the SBR3 is already in progress for commencement in the first half of 2019.
